I was getting ready to graduate college, torn between getting a corporate job or trying to work & travel to explore the world.

I had the ability to get a well-paying office job that I was afraid would drain the life out of me.

Or I could live and work in a remote island community I had never heard of, making just enough money to get by.

I chose to go to the island I had never heard of.

I was exposed to new ways of thinking and learned from a welcoming community who was living in harmony with their environment.

Since then, I've lived & worked in Qatar, Texas, Utah, Arizona, and Alaska.

I've focused my work on education, conservation, and photography.

Most recently, I spent two seasons taking guests out to view Alaska's glaciers & wildlife while instructing photography.

Photography has been a huge part of my life for well over a decade, and now my camera feels like an extension of me, and a way for me to appreciate the beautiful intricacies of life on earth.

Now, I'm committed to becoming a photographer and sharing the landscapes & wildlife that make the earth so special.
